Founded in 1979 by brothers John & Doug Sturrock. Each have many years boating experience in all aspects of sailing; racing as well as leisure boating.

The business grew from a retail shop in 1979 at Birkenhead Point, through to the ownership of boatyards in the 80's & 90's. The Chandlery is now located at Rushcutters Bay in the heart of Sydney's ocean racing fleet.

Being in business for 47 years, you can count on the right advice for all your boating requirements.

Do you stock ropes, fittings, and hardware suitable for dinghies?

Yes, we have a great range of dinghy fittings and ropes suitable. Most of our staff are ex-dinghy sailors with knowledge to help.

Can you help new boat owners with safety and setup advice?

We have everything to help new boat owners make sure they are compliant with NSW Regulations, and Australian Sailing standards for racing.
